Popups lets you build popups the same way you build pages: open Popups > Add Popup and use any blocks you like, such as headings, images, buttons, columns or a sign-up form from your favourite form plugin. Then choose how and when it appears.

  • **Exit intent**: open the popup when a visitor moves to leave the page (desktop).
  • **Targeting**: only on chosen pages (by ID) or URL patterns such as `/shop/*`, never on others such as `/checkout*`, and only for visitors, logged-in users or chosen roles.
  • **A/B tests**: give two popups the same test name and each visitor sees one of them, chosen at random and remembered.

Requirements

WordPress 6.4 or newer (tested up to 7.1), PHP 7.4 or newer. Works with the block editor and the classic editor.

Installation

  1. Download the free version or start the Pro trial above. Freemius emails you the zip and, for Pro, your licence key.
  2. In WordPress go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, choose the zip and activate it.
  3. Pro: paste the licence key when the plugin asks for it, or later under the plugin's Account screen.
