Lazy Media v1.0.0
Lazy-load images and iframes, and swap YouTube and Vimeo embeds for fast click-to-load previews.
No credit card for the trial. Pro from $2.42/mo, billed annually. 14-day money-back guarantee.
Images further down the page and embedded videos are the heaviest things most pages load, and visitors often never scroll to them. Lazy Media makes the browser fetch them only when they are needed, without touching the images at the top of the page that should appear straight away.
Lazy Media Pro
$29 per year, single site
Everything in Free, plus:
- Low-quality image placeholders: a tiny blurred preview of each lazy-loaded JPEG from the Media Library, generated on your server with GD and inlined in the page, shown until the real image arrives. Placeholders are made when an image is uploaded and cached with the image.
- Per-template rules: switch lazy loading or video previews off, or change how many images load normally, on the front page, archives and search, single posts and pages, or specific templates (by file name, page template or block template slug).
- Exclusions: leave images, iframes and videos alone by CSS class or by URL pattern (with `*` wildcards).
